Lucy is a freelance actor and creative with a strong interest in immersive and political theatre. In the last year Lucy has worked on various films, performed on stage in Nottingham and started her own business. In 2018 Lucy set up Dollybox Theatre with Natalie Sloan. Together they create political, postmodern work which aims to expose and raise awareness of social injustice.
Lucy is also a facilitator. Previous work has included working with some of the following companies: Peer Productions, Challengers and LivingHouse Theatre. Lucy is very passionate about providing working class actors with more opportunities and making theatre accessible for all.
In the last year Lucy has also developed a relationship with theatre company PlanetB. She was particularly keen in their work around human trafficking which is why she jumped at the opportunity to be a writer for the company’s immersive show TRAFFIK. The show raises awareness of human trafficking and the actions we can all take to combat it.
