A fond farewell to the class of 2022

On Saturday we bid a fond farewell to the class of 2022. They performed our touring production Losing It as a matinee for friends and family at the Buzz theatre in Woking and then we held our graduation ceremony in the evening.

Over the course of their year with Peer, the group have delivered three touring productions alongside completing their training on the Peer Actor Development Programme. You can find out more about this brilliant group of actors with examples of their individual showcases here.

During the ceremony staff and actors shared their reflections on the personal development and growth of the cohort. For example actor Ismael Akram, who will continuing his training at Rose Bruford said,

β€˜The most important thing I have discovered about myself as an artist during my time at Peer Productions is that I am extremely versatile and able to do anything I can push my body and mind to. Before joining Peer I used to think that I was not worthy, versatile or talented enough to be an artist. However, since joining Peer I discovered that my talent is attributed towards all aspects of the performance industry from naturalism to children's theatre.’

We still have places to join the Peer Actor Development Programme this September. Click here to apply.
