OUR PLAYS for PSHE
Transforming young peoples lives’ through theatre.
Our educational plays link directly to PSHCE guidelines set out in the national curriculum and contribute to schools’ SMSC requirements as assessed for by OFSTED.
Our plays are frank and hard-hitting whilst using humour and music to help students relate to challenging subjects. Students can easily engage with the plays and our partner schools often rebook on an annual basis.
Each play can be performed to a full year group and is performed by a cast of trained and DBS checked peer educators, all of whom are part of our in-house actor Development Programme. Our tours have grown in popularity over the years so booking early is the best way to ensure getting your first choice of date and time. Explore our current programme below.
Losing It
Losing It is an educational play which takes on sex education for young people in a unique and engaging way.
All the boys at school seem to be only interested in one thing, so when naive Charlotte meets an older guy online who promises her a fairytale romance, she is sure it’s true love. It’s up to her friend Ash to try and stop her from making a terrible mistake - but Ash has worries of their own - “Are you a boy or a girl?”
As I See it
As I See It is a brand new educational play and learning resource by Nina Lemon with music by Nick Monfard which explores serious violence and knife crime.
On a nothingy Wednesday on a boring Autumn night’, 14 year old Ali is left gravely injured and fighting for his life. Ali’s friends Kai and Fin struggle to administer emergency first aid while they wait for the emergency services to arrive.
