World Premiere of ‘Hidden’
We are excited to announce the World Premiere of our digital production of Nina Lemon’s award winning play Hidden.
Everyone is invited to join us for an ‘as live’ watch party at 7pm on Thursday 22nd April 2021 followed by an exclusive Q&A with the creative team. Tickets are only £5.
After this schools will be able to choose a streaming package to suit their needs together with access to a teachers’ pack and interactive student guide.
Hidden tells the story of thee very different teenagers - Sophia, Matt and Tash.
Sophia, Tash and Matt meet at a music festival. They go to different schools, have different friendship groups and have led very different lives. However, they all have the same problem - they use self-harm as a way to cope with their feelings. Sophia feels stifled by boarding school life, has a poor body image and feels out of control. Matt is consumed with anxiety about his impending GCSE exams. Tash is haunted by memories of a traumatic childhood and feels like the world would be a better place without her. When her only friend suddenly disappears, her self-harming behaviour gets out of control.
Hidden has been designed for year 8+ and has been developed in consultation with clinicians, those who have recovered from self-harm and leading charities in the field.
Our high-quality, theatrically-filmed production ensures a brilliant PSHE or Drama experience for young people, and is supported by a comprehensive teachers' pack and an interactive student guide.
