OUR PLAYS for PSHE
Transforming young peoples lives’ through theatre.
Our educational plays link directly to PSHCE guidelines set out in the national curriculum and contribute to schools’ SMSC requirements as assessed for by OFSTED.
Our plays are frank and hard-hitting whilst using humour and music to help students relate to challenging subjects. Students can easily engage with the plays and our partner schools often rebook on an annual basis.
Each play can be performed to a full year group and is performed by a cast of trained and DBS checked peer educators, all of whom are part of our in-house actor Development Programme. Our tours have grown in popularity over the years so booking early is the best way to ensure getting your first choice of date and time. Explore our current programme below.
The Forest In Between
For year 6
Step into the enchanting world of The Forest In Between, a captivating interactive play inspired by workshops with Year 6 children.
This play addresses the issues that matter most to young people, including friendships and bullying, the pain of losing a loved one, concerns about climate change, fears related to detention and strict teachers, and the universal theme of growing up. Join us on this transformative journey through The Forest In Between, where the magic of exploration and self-discovery takes centre stage.
Join Bailey, Sophie, Devon, and Budge, along with Budge's loyal canine companion Winnie, as they gather in the heart of the forest on the cusp of their journey to secondary school. It’s their last summer together and the forest is about to teach them some important lessons.
The Space Between (my head & heart)
For years 3 through 5
The Space Between (my head & heart) is a show which explores everyday wellbeing, perspective and resilience.
When an astronaut and an alien are both stranded on an unfamiliar planet they must learn to understand each other if they want to get their feet back on the ground. Using interactive, musical storytelling, Peer Production’s play for 7 - 9 year olds aims to give children healthy strategies to improve everyday emotional wellbeing and build self-esteem and resilience.
Please note: For logistical reasons, it is only possible for us to perform in person for schools in the South East.
For schools across the rest of the country, we are delighted to offer Digital Resources, including our Digital Production of Hidden.
