Bella Leach

PEER EMPLOYMENT PATHWAY (PEP) ACTOR

Bella is a 21 year old actor with Down Syndrome.

Bella has loved working on the development of ‘Story of Us’, a project that is continuing this year with external facilitators. She loves that she is treated as an equal and has her voice heard, something that she says hasn’t existed in her life before. Bella is really enjoying Shakespeare, learning the history and the iambic pentameter. She has also loved working on our holiday schools with children with disabilities, a funded programme that allows children to come to Peer to access theatre and also be fed.

In the future Bella would like to work in the West End or be on Casualty.
