Chase Hembrow
Learning Assistant (pep)
Chase Hembrow is a Puppeteer, Theatre maker and Multimedia Artist whose work often relates to nature, animals and mythology. They attended the Peer Actor Development programme before studying on the European Theatre Arts Course at Rose Bruford & Specialising in Puppetry at Akademii Sztuk Teatralnych in Poland.
They have built and puppeteered several giant, outdoor puppets including Hedgehogs, Foxes and Nature Spirits. They perform as characters for outdoor events, such as Christmas Elves or Spring Fairies. They also devise their own puppetry shows and films.
Chase facilitates workshops in performance, puppetry and art.
They are excited to return to Peer as a learning assistant and get involved in the summer projects!
In their free time they create art in many different mediums, including paint and needle felt. They also love books, boardgames and foxes.
